How do I place an order?

We offer a variety of ways to order Lavi products. Please read from our options below:

  1. By Phone: Please contact our Customer Service department. They are ready to accept your verbal order over the phone. An order confirmation will be faxed or emailed to you for your final approval. Once you have signed the approval order form, fax or email it back to us and we can process your order.
  2. EDI (Electronic Data Interchange): We are pleased to partner with our customers utilizing EDI. Please contact customer service for more information.
  3. By Internet: Internet orders may be placed via B2B sites such as ARIBA. Orders can also be placed via this Lavi website, www.lavi.com.
  4. By Fax: Customers with active accounts and terms can submit a Purchase Order via Fax to 661.257.4938. All Purchase orders must have accurate payment terms, freight terms, part numbers, descriptions, and pricing. Please include the billing and shipping address. Freight will default to prepaid and add unless otherwise noted; include freight carrier and account number where applicable.
What are your standard lead times?

Most orders ship within five working days. In the event an order is estimated at more than 10 days, our Customer Service department will contact you. You may also contact us for the specific lead time or your order.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?

All orders less than $100.00 may be subject to a minimum order fee.

Can an order be expedited/rushed?

Yes, taking into consideration product availability and complexity some items/orders may have an expedite option. Expedite is not a guaranteed option and is by request only. Please keep in mind expedite may not be same or one day processing however when approved will be less than standard lead-time. Additional fees will apply where we are able to accommodate for shortened lead-times and may be subject to additional processing fees i.e. paint, chrome, clear coat, etc. Fees are based on order size and value. Please call for a quote.

What are your procedures for customizing products?

Upon approval from our sales and engineering staff, we can customize products. All customizations require a deposit. Production will commence only upon receipt of the deposit. Unfortunately, if such orders are cancelled, customer will be billed for time, material and expenses incurred up to time of receipt of the cancellation.

Do you cut tubing and extrusions to length?

Yes. Most of our standard .050 Wall thickness Polished Brass and Stainless Steel tubing is available in 4ft, 6ft, 8ft and 12ft lengths without an extra charge for cutting. Please contact Customer service for the exact part numbers we offer with shorter standard lengths. For all other tubing we will be happy to cut your tubing and extrusions to length with a nominal charge of $2.00 per cut. Cuts cannot be less than 1/8 inch increments.

Customer will be charged for the nearest full-length price. Cut-offs will be shipped upon request. Please note that these charges are net pricing.

What are your freight terms?

All prices are F.O.B. Valencia, California; F.O.B. Brewster, New York; freight collect; or prepaid and add.

Do you have rush or expedited freight/shipping options?

Yes, where applicable small package shipments may have 1, 2 or 3 day options available for speedy shipping. Please note this does not mean you will receive your order in one, two, or three days. Rush shipping will ensure once your order is ready to ship it will arrive in the amount of time selected. Additional charges will apply. Please keep in mind that there is no weekend/holiday delivery for 1-, 2- or 3- day shipping. It is possible that an order ready to ship at the end of the day Friday via 1-day shipping may not be processed by the carrier until Monday and delivered on Tuesday. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to our international customers daily. We can ship from either our California or New York location, based on the time and cost effectiveness for our customers.

Is freight included in the order total?

Freight is calculated for most orders. For large orders and/or specific items, freight will be quoted separately and added to the order.

What are your accepted types of payment?

Cash, check, wire/bank transfer, ACH, credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express & Discover).

Who do I contact to get a W-9 Form filled out by Lavi Industries?

You can email your request to the A/R & Collections Department, and a copy will be sent out to you within 24 hours.

What states does Lavi Industries have sales tax nexus in?

California, New York, Texas, Illinois, Virginia, and Florida.

My Company is tax exempt; what do I need to do?

Please fax your exemption letter or resale card to the Finance Department at 661.219.3153 or you may contact our Customer Service Department and we can send you our form.

What are your billing terms?

Net 30. Once an invoice is 60 days past due, we reserve the right to inactivate accounts.

Are finance charges applied to accounts that are late?

Yes, finance charges can be applied to any account that becomes late or delinquent on payment.

When do invoices go out?

The day after the product has been shipped.

How do I get an additional copy of my invoice?

You can email your request to the A/R & Collections Department, and a copy will be sent out to you within 24 hours.

How do I get a statement of my account?

You can email your request to the A/R & Collections Department, and a copy will be sent out to you within 24 hours.

I need additional information from my invoice. Are reports available?

In some cases, specialized reports are available at an additional charge. Please email our A/R & Collections Department with regards to your needs.

What is your warranty policy?

All products manufactured by Lavi Industries are inspected before shipment. However, if any such product supplied hereunder is:

  1. a. Defective in material or workmanship upon receipt, or
  2. b. Failing to perform as specified within the product warranty period

The buyer shall notify Lavi Industries within 30 days of the occurrence and Lavi Industries shall, upon return of the defective products and without cost to Buyer, repair or replace the defective products or at Lavi Industries’ option, refund the purchase price. What is your return policy?

If the product you receive is damaged in any way or is not what you ordered, we will ship your replacement order in a timely and efficient manner. Please call our Customer Service department so they can authorize the return. We will arrange to have a carrier pick up the product to be returned at our expense.

If you would like to return product for any other reason, a 25% re-stocking charge will apply. The original shipping costs will be deducted from all credits issued to the purchaser. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

When shipping please return product in its original packaging. If you have discarded the original packaging, please contact Customer Service for further direction.

What are the benefits of clear-coating?

To maintain the high luster of brass, it must be polished on a regular basis otherwise it will tarnish. Clear coating eliminates the need for polishing but it is only suitable in conditions where there is no handling of the product such as stemware racks, sneeze guards & booth dividers. Clear coating is not recommended for handrails & footrails.

Do you offer glass?

Yes. We can provide glass for your sneeze guards, booth divider posts, stemware racks, etc., or you can contact your local glazer for your glass requirements. We offer 1/4" tempered glass as standard.

How far apart should I space my booth divider posts, sneeze guard posts, handrails or footrails?

Our recommended spacing is 3-4 feet for sneeze guards and booth divider posts. For handrails and footrails we suggest post spacing for every 4 feet.

What is the difference between chrome and stainless steel?

Stainless steel is a natural metal that is noted for durability and anti-rust properties. Chrome is a finish that is applied over steel, brass etc. Both chrome and stainless steel have virtually the same look and similar pricing, but lead time for Chrome is slightly longer.

Are your products suitable for outdoor use?

Our products are best suited for indoor use except where specifically noted in our catalogs and brochures.
