Tall Hinged Panel Barriers

Description

Tall Hinged Panel Barriers build 6-foot walls for airport secure zones and video gaming areas. Each 48 x 70-inch panel has a middle bar at 35 inches that braces the frame and splits the infill. Airports use clear, frosted, or black panels for restricted areas and secure zones. In gaming areas, black Sintra below gives players privacy while clear acrylic above lets staff spot anyone underage. Standard and custom sizes are built in the USA.

Description

Airports and gaming operators need the same thing from a tall wall: control over where people can go and what they can see. Airports use Black/Black or Frosted/Frosted panels to form customs holds, secure areas, and interview rooms. Black/Clear panels provide video gaming spaces with privacy for players at seat level and visibility for staff to monitor activity.

The middle bar does more than divide the infill. It stiffens the tall frame, so a long run of panels stays rigid in a busy terminal or retail location. Built-in hinges let the wall turn corners or wrap a bank of machines in a full enclosure. Mix solid and window panels along the same run.

Custom panels and configurations are available, including custom-printed panels and doors with magnetic or latch closures. Send us your floor plan, and we'll lay out the wall around your security needs or local gaming rules.

  • Braced by a middle bar
A horizontal bar at 35 inches stiffens each 48 x 70-inch panel, so a tall run stays rigid, and lets the two halves take different infill.
  • Five standard infills
Black/Black, Frosted/Frosted, Clear/Clear, Black/Clear, or Black/Frosted. Solid and frosted panels provide privacy for secure areas and rooms.
  • Privacy below, view above
Black/Clear panels screen a video gaming area at seat level while staff see who walks in, including anyone underage.
  • Built to fit your space
Custom widths, heights, bar positions, and infill splits.
  • Wraps any layout
Built-in hinges angle each panel, so a run turns corners and forms L-shaped walls or full enclosures.
  • Custom print or etch any section
Add your brand, wayfinding, security notices, or an age-restriction notice to the Sintra or acrylic. Explore custom printing options.
  • Fits 6-foot Partition Posts
The 70-inch panel matches a 72-inch partition post on a 14-inch sloped base. Works with magnetic and permanent bases, too.

FAQs

Which infill should I choose for an airport restricted area?

Choose Black/Black when the space must stay out of sight, such as a customs hold or interview room. Frosted/Frosted blocks a clear view but lets light through. Clear/Clear separates a controlled area from the public side while keeping it fully visible.

Can a tall panel wall be moved or reconfigured?

Yes. Panels slide out of the post grooves, so a run comes apart without tools or construction. Portable bases move with the wall. Magnetic posts lift off a thin floor plate when a terminal needs a new layout.

Why use a Black/Clear panel for a video gaming area?

The black Sintra lower section gives players privacy from the main floor. The clear acrylic upper section keeps the area in view, so staff can see who enters, including anyone underage.

Will tall panels meet my video gaming barrier requirements?

Requirements vary by state and by city, including barrier height, staff sight lines, and entrance placement. Confirm your layout with your gaming board and local authority before installation. Call 1-888-285-8605 and we can help you plan it.

Can you build custom sizes or splits?

Yes. We build other widths and heights, adjust the middle bar height, and change the infill mix, such as clear acrylic in only the top quarter. Additionally, any section can be printed or etched with your brand or messaging.

What posts and bases do the tall panels need?

Choose a partition post at least 2 inches taller than the panel on a 14-inch sloped base, or half an inch taller on a magnetic base. The 70-inch panel matches a 6-foot (72-inch) partition post, with posts 52.5 inches apart, center to center.

Can I add a door to a tall panel wall?

Yes. Custom doors for tall runs close with a magnetic or latch closure. Call 1-888-285-8605, Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm Pacific, to configure one.
