Description

A permanent weld replaces the slip-fit at this post base: the fabricator welds the 2" OD tube to the flange, so post and base stay tight as one piece with no joint to loosen. That suits an outdoor terrace, a rooftop deck, a pool surround, or a wide exterior stair where the mount has to hold under weather and use. 316-grade satin stainless steel provides marine-grade chloride resistance outdoors and near salt air, with a satin finish that hides the welds. It ships as a weld-on component, not a pre-fabricated assembly: the fabricator welds the tube on, then bolts it down. It closes the welded floor flange line at its largest OD.
