Temporary ways to direct crowds moving through a facility are required by many industries, from shopping malls to hospitals. At Lavi Industries, we manufacture a variety of portable stanchion and rope systems to help guide people through your space. Our systems can be used to create traffic aisles, hold out lines, buffer zones between crowds and displays and other flow patterns.

There are basically two types of portable stantion systems available from Lavi Industries, although we do offer several styles of each. Traditional units are designed to accommodate swag ropes or chains. We offer velvet velour, vinyl, tweed and braided stanchion ropes in a wide range of colors. Beltrac stanchions do not use swag ropes. Instead, they contain a retractable belt that extends from one post to the next. Several colors of post and over a dozen belt colors are available. Beltrac posts can also be fitted with adapters to hold inline merchandising pieces such as displays and even small tables.
In some facilities, stanchions are not always needed, but when they are it is always in the same location. In these instances, a removable stantion system from Lavi Industries may be your best solution. Each post fits securely into a ground mounted cup that can be capped when not in use. They are able to use chains and ropes, as the traditional portable stanchion models, but have the advantages of being much more stable and always in the precise position you have selected.
