Lavi Industries New 'Qtrac Media Manager' Centralizes Control of all In-Store Electronic Signage and Digital Messaging

Media playlists easily created, scheduled, customized for a single display or hundreds across multiple stores and regions.
January 14, 2013

Valencia, California - Lavi Industries, a national leader in crowd control and queue management technologies, today announced the introduction of Qtrac Media Manager, a proprietary technology that provides retailers with comprehensive, centralized control over in-store signage and in-queue digital messaging.

Qtrac Media Manager enables retailers to easily coordinate and manage in-store digital messaging for displays running Lavi's Qtrac electronic queuing software, as well as other media-only displays positioned throughout a store. Qtrac Media Manager is fully scalable, enabling the control of a single monitor or hundreds of displays across numerous stores in multiple regions, giving retailers the power to create detailed strategies for all in-store signage and messaging.

The key to Lavi’s Qtrac Media Manager system is ease of use.

“If you can operate iTunes or similar consumer media programs, you can quickly and easily manage the in-store signage for an entire retail system,” said Perry Kuklin, director of marketing for Lavi Industries.

Lavi’s Qtrac Media Manager dashboard shows a list of all available in-store screens, which can be organized and assembled as individual screens or groups of any size. Media content is listed as playlists, which are then dragged and dropped to individual screens or screen groups and easily programmed to change according to user-defined schedules.

The benefits of centralized media management are many, according to Mr. Kuklin.

“In-store electronic signage and in-queue digital messaging is proven to be far more effective when it is controlled in a strategic, unified manner,” he said. “Our studies show that consumer response to strategic in-store media management includes reductions in perceived wait times as much as 40 percent, which directly impacts customer retention, as well as similarly dramatic increases in impulse purchases. More importantly, Qtrac Media Manager ensures that retailers are delivering the right message to the right consumer at the right time,” he said.

Lavi Industries will demonstrate Qtrac Media Manager and other public guidance technologies in booth #2727 at NRF 2013 in New York, January 13-15.
